As a lifestyle entrepreneur, my main priority is being able to live life on my own terms. And, that usually means that I am constantly looking for new and creative ways of building my business, publishing content, interacting with my audience, and selling my products.
Ever since I discovered webinars just over a year ago, my business took off. Let me tell you why:
1. Webinars help you build your list.
We all know that we need to produce content for our audience, but sometimes it may seem overwhelming. Should we blog? Make videos? Podcast? The options can seem endless.
However, if your main goal is to build a list and grow your audience through your content, webinars could be your holy grail. Not only do they let you share your content very effectively, but they generate opt-ins at the same time.
Think about it, what makes you more excited: reading a blog post, or attending a live event?
Most importantly, what is more likely to convert you as a reader into a subscriber?
When you host a live webinar, you’re essentially hosting your very own live event. You’re speaking on a virtual stage. You’re presenting your material in a way that’s engaging and inspiring - and worth signing up for.
2. Webinars allow you to create personal relationships with your audience.
I remember the first time signed up and attended a live webinar. The host was someone I really admired and looked up to. And, when he asked the audience to say hi and let him know from where in the world we were tuning in from, I chimed in: “Hey, Michael here from Montreal!”.
